Project Brief
The school needed a new SEN 6th form and independent living block. In addition to the build requirement, they also needed groundworks to be completed on the site, accounting for the disused mine workings underneath.

Our Approach
We constructed a new modular building, enhancing the exterior with Trespa cladding to provide the required finish. In order to prepare the site, we delivered a full groundworks package, which included locating and grouting the old mine shafts below ground, and conducting vibro-compaction of the poor quality ground above the old mine workings.
