New Classroom for Flitch Green Primary School

Developed as part of a four-year contract with Essex County Council, Elite Systems were asked to provide the classroom, along with foundations, in a very short window of opportunity during Summer holidays.

The existing school is primarily timber clad, so the design team at Elite put forward a vision for a new classroom with attractive open board Siberian Larch horizontal cladding, complemented by a steeper than normal sloping roof to match the adjacent buildings.

Delivered fully fit-out, ready for the new term, the project was completed, including groundworks, over just a four-week period during the available Summer holidays window.
