Elite Systems goes to the 3 Rugby League World Cup finals

We’re a social bunch at Elite Systems and some of us are rugby fans

On 19 November last year, a big group of us headed to Old Trafford to watch the double-header men’s and women’s Rugby League World Cup finals Australia Vs New Zealand followed by Australia’s men then playing against Samoa.

Oli Kemp, our estimator, said:

“I’d never been to a Rugby League match before but it was a fantastic day out with rugby-fan colleagues and really soaking up the electric atmosphere of two finals and seeing both trophies be lifted was indescribable.”

On the night before, other staff were also part of the sell-out crowd at the Rugby League wheelchair final at Manchester Central – the third ever of its kind and the first time it was fully integrated into the main game, with England defeating France to bring home the trophy.

The general response from staff was regardless of supporting the winning or losing teams, it was a fantastic few days out and everyone’s looking forward to watching and supporting more of our sports games – especially for the Rugby League in 2025.
