Staff Spotlight: Craig Senior Senior by name, Senior by Nature

Joining the company just after the millennium, Craig initially joined working in the yard, building up to administration manager and overseeing internal matters, but his role has since diversified further and he will very often be seen visiting and assessing sites as work starts, continues, and ends.

Like many of the Elite team, Craig is an avid dog owner and is currently training a puppy, like colleagues Hannah and James, and so there’s a lot of funny stories to be had over our extended four-legged friends.

As a Deputy Chief Marshal for Harewood Hillclimb, Craig is involved in the pre-event organisation on the 1440m tarmac track. He allocates the volunteer marshals to the various posts on the course and then ensures that the event runs smoothly during the day. He is also Treasurer of the Harewood Marshals Association and a member of the British Automobile Racing Club, British Motorsport Marshals Club and Huddersfield Motor Club.

When put under the spotlight, the main thing Craig has to say about being here for over two decades was “I’m still waiting on my carriage clock” he jests. One day, we’re sure our MD Marcus will hand one over.
