After 16 years with Elite, Marcus was appointed managing director in 2017 and now has overall responsibility for the direction of the business.

His career began first with obtaining his Mechanical and Production Engineering HNC, leading his to various electrical engineering roles throughout the 1990s.

At the turn of the millennium, he joined the family business as the technical manager, working with his father Tony Sutcliffe, building his knowledge of technical drawing design and applying his experience in electrical engineering to modular construction.

With now over 30 years experience in electrical and mechanical engineering and 20 years in modular manufacturing, Marcus has seen how the industry has developed and grown both in the UK and internationally as a viable alternative to traditional building methods.
