Peter joined Elite following several months working with the business in a consultancy capacity, during which he quickly became a trusted and highly valued member of the team. He built strong relationships across the organisation and developed a deep understanding of Elite’s people, culture, and strategic ambitions.
Following his highly successful consultancy period, Elite was delighted to formalise the relationship with Peter on a committed and exclusive basis. With more than 30 years’ experience across architecture, construction, and the modular building sector, Peter brings a proven track record of operational excellence and leadership that will play a key role in supporting Elite’s continued growth.
Below, Peter shares his thoughts on joining Elite Systems, his background, and his role within the business.
After working closely with Elite as a consultant, it quickly became clear that this was a business I wanted to be part of long term. The relationships built during those early months, combined with Elite’s ambition and approach, made the decision an easy one.
Originally trained in architecture, I began my career in local architectural practices, where I developed a strong technical grounding in construction. This foundation led me into the modular building industry, with my career progressing from senior technical roles into management and director-level positions, giving me responsibility across a wide range of business functions.
What’s really stood out to me about Elite Systems is the depth of experience within the team and the quality of what they deliver. I see a strong opportunity to strengthen processes, support continued growth, and help ensure the business operates as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
In my role as Operations Director, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, with a focus on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with Elite’s strategic goals. This includes managing teams, budgets, and supply chains, while ensuring the systems and processes are in place to support consistent delivery and future growth.
Outside of work, I’m a keen cyclist and regularly travel to take part in weekend sportives. I’m also a passionate music lover and semi-professional drummer, and spend much of my free time either making music or enjoying live performances.
