Elite Systems GB Ltd provides modular and temporary buildings to various industry sectors across the UK. These buildings are made to order and can be in single storey or multi storey structures.

Multi storey modular buildings are a versatile and cost effective solution when space is at a premium. They can be assembled in a shorter amount of time and have all the fixtures expected from a large building structure.

Elite Systems Multi Storey Modular Buildings come in either double or triple storey versions. All of our buildings are self contained, including internal staircases and lifts, and meet stringent building regulations for health and safety.

Double or triple storey modular buildings where ground space is at a premium.

Complete self contained buildings with internal staircases and lifts which all comply with current building regulations.

Single or multi span buildings back to back can match traditional built buildings at a fraction of the cost and often half construction time.

Premier Multi Storey Buildings

The Premier Multi storey provides accommodation at a fraction of the cost of traditional build and in a shorter programme. Designed and manufactured to your individual requirements.

Interiors are finished according to your requirements and budgets. Optional extras include suspended ceilings, LG3 lighting, IT fit out including patch panels, air conditioning with heat pumps.

Technical Info

The units are designed in accordance with the recommendations of:
BS 5268 “Structural use of Timber”
BS 6399 Part 1 1996 Code of Practice for dead and imposed loads
BS 6399 Part 2 1997 Code of Practice for wind loads
BS 6399 Part 3 1988 Code of Practice for imposed roof loads
Minimum imposed loads are as follows: Roof 0.75 kn/m2, Floor 3.0 kn/m2

Thermal Insulation:

All Premier Multi Storey Modular Buildings conform with current building control regulations concerning the thermal insulation properties required as reviewed under our continuous professional development policy.

Common applications of sizes available:

Buildings are supplied in multiples of 1200mm panels, commencing in 6 metre up to 12 metre spans, with the standard ceiling height of 2400mm.
Buildings start in standard 2.4 metre widths up to 3.6 metres. However, our versatile system ensures any sizes are achievable.
Double and multi storey buildings are based on a robust steel frame with widths of 3 metres as standard.

External cladding:

Depending on requirement and budget.
Plastic Coated Steel (Standard Issue).
GRP Aggregate
Brick slip and brick clad.
Roof finished as standard with a uPVC Hypalon blanket. Due to planning recommendations, full pitch roofs with light weight steel tiles, or Kingspan warm deck are becoming more popular.

Internal Walls and Ceilings:

All internal walls and ceilings are finished in pre finished 15 mm foil backed Megadeck impact resistant vinyl faced plasterboard as standard. A moulded plastic section between joints ensures a uniform finish throughout. Suspended ceilings are a popular additional optional extra. The pre finish plasterboard gives the fire rating of Class O spread of flame.
Windows double glazed, with toughened or laminated glass in uPVC frames, subject to requirement. Vertical blinds are an optional extra.
Floor coverings are also included in our costs and are site fitted.

Electrical and Plumbing installations:

Electrical lighting, heating and power points to current regulations are fitted as standard. Additional items are supplied subject to client's requirements including data and IT equipment. Full on site connection packages are common place subject to an inspection by our site engineers.

On completion of the installation work, Elite Systems will carry out tests in accordance with the IEE current editions. Test certificates shall be completed in duplicate and submitted to the client.

Plumbing fittings are readily available and can be incorporated in the design stage to ensure building performance.
